ABOUT US

Founded by Kaylene Buckley in 2012, the Siena Netball Club was created with the aim of offering girls and boys the opportunity to develop their netball skills and enjoy competitive situations outside the school environment. Our club is solely volunteer run and caters for students from all over the Sunshine Coast with our base being Siena Catholic Primary School and Siena Catholic College. We provide weekly Netball coaching with skills, drills and match play in a friendly, safe and enjoyable environment. We are proud of what we have achieved over the last ten years and currently have 180 players across 20 teams, catering for Netballers aged from 7 to 18 years old.

We are committed to increasing recognition and appreciation of Netball as a sport and encourage the Sunshine Coast community to be proud and supportive of their local sports girls and women. In addition, we aim to foster the beliefs of the values systems encompassing both Siena Primary and Secondary by focussing on improvement and helping those within our community.

Training is conducted at the Siena Primary School and College on a Tuesday afternoon between 3:15pm and 5:30pm. Fixtures are held at the Sunshine Coast Netball Association at Fishermans Road on Saturdays.
